Haley Glennie-Smith, Planet Earth Live Soloist

Haley Glennie-Smith
Since moving back to London from the US in 2002, Haley has had the pleasure of working on a series of inspiring music projects including: contributing interpretations of two Robert Johnson blues songs to the soundtrack of Stephen Woolley’s feature film Stoned – a biopic about Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones; working as a singing coach for Todd Haynes’ Bob Dylan inspired film I’m Not There and performing the end title song of Sugarhouse, a British film scored by composer, Michael Price. She first worked with George Fenton as a vocalist on the opening titles of BBC’s Life series, and went on to feature as a soloist on the Planet Earth in Concert! US tour, in the summer of 2010, and in concert with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in February of this year.  In addition to working as a session vocalist, she also writes and regularly performs her own material in and around the UK.
